short documentary, 19min
Going away for three years. Three years and a day to be precise.
Away from friends, family and home. An ancient tradition that only a handful of tradesmen still follow today; the journeyman’s travel.
We take to the road to accompany travelling apprentices in different phases of their journey and are witnesses to a life that in this modern day and age, hardly anyone feels brave enough to lead.

To do a complete lap around the globe all by yourself is already a huge adventure.
But to do it on a hand-built, 10-foot long, fully rigid motorcycle requires a very special kind of human.
Allow me to introduce: Charlie Weisel – a very special kind of human.
I met Charlie on the road for this film. We talked about his journey, life, and, of course, the question he gets asked the most: “Why would you do it on that?”

Music | Zeal & Ardor – You ain’t Coming Back (Live in London)
Critically acclaimed across the industry, including by Rolling Stone, Alternative Press, Kerrang!, Metal Hammer, Noisey, Upset, and many more, The Guardian newspaper described ‘Stranger Fruit’ as “extraordinary and brilliant” upon release. By Christmas 2018, the UK’s largest free newspaper Metro declared ‘Stranger Fruit’ their #2 Album of the Year in a cross-genre list, declaring “in this jaw-dropping meld of black American folk music and black metal, the Swiss artist Manuel Gagneux has hit upon something genuinely original.”

Words by doodah:
The valley of Verzasca is a beautiful biosphere hidden in southern part of Switzerland, embedded in the mountains with tempting pools of luminous green.
Hooked on secluded spots, remote villages and spectacular dams, we packed Chris Rediger, Timmey Krauer and Samuel Aeby together with photographer Filip Zuan and filmmaker Christian Taro in a Rustico at the end of the Valley and let the magic happen.
From befriending goats to how to safely cross a river, no stone was left unturned to find some truly exotic skateboard spots

“Skateboarding doesn’t make you a skateboarder: not being able to stop skateboarding makes you a skateboarder.”
- Lance Mountain
What is it, that keeps skateboarders trying a trick over and over again - ignoring the pain and frustration after several slams?
"First Love" tries to show outsiders of the skateboard community what the fascination of this special sport is all about. But also addresses the die-hard skateboarders all around the world.
